NVIDIA showcased a wave of AI and graphics advances at SIGGRAPH 2026 on July 20, unveiling the Cosmos 3 Edge world model, synthetic video detection technology, and Model Context Protocol integrations that bring agentic AI into creative applications like Adobe and Affinity.

The SIGGRAPH keynote, delivered by NVIDIA AI research leaders, highlighted three research directions: neural rendering that preserves artistic intent while enabling real-time 4K output, AI physics simulations for weather forecasting and automotive aerodynamics via NVIDIA Earth-2, and world models through the Cosmos platform. Cosmos 3 Edge, a four-billion-parameter model released at the conference, runs in real time on device for robotics and autonomous systems.

NVIDIA also announced Cosmos-Dreams, a collection of closed-loop simulators that generate entire driving worlds from a single frame. Running on a single RTX PRO 6000 GPU, these simulators let developers verify autonomous vehicle models before fleet deployment.

On the creative tools front, the Model Context Protocol connections let AI agents work directly inside Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity, and other applications, inspecting scenes for missing textures, generating export variants, and validating pipeline rules while keeping creative decisions in human hands. NVIDIA also launched a Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice to help identify AI-generated video content, addressing growing concerns about deepfake media in professional pipelines.

The company demonstrated its Earth-2 platform compressing model checkpoints down to a couple hundred megabytes for physically accurate visualization in under a second.
