The startup training AI to operate in the physical world is back in the market for capital. General Intuition is reportedly in talks at a $6B pre-money valuation, with Valor Equity Partners and Point72 among the new names in the cap table.
Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst, both already invested, are adding capital as well. The deal follows a $320M raise at a $2.3B valuation by only a few weeks, and a person familiar with the process says the round is oversubscribed.
Pim de Witte launched the company in October out of Medal, his gaming clip platform. The training data came from hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay, plus action labels recording exactly which buttons players pressed and when. Khosla thinks those labels unlock what he calls the emergence of intuition, letting models handle tasks they never saw in training.
The proceeds will push the general model toward robotic embodiments, funding CoreWeave compute and new hiring. For Valor, the fund best known for backing SpaceX, this would be its first investment in an AI lab since that ride.
