The charging case is the phone in Plaud’s latest wearable design. It carries a 4G radio, so the Plaud One Explorer Edition earbuds keep recording, transcribing, and summarizing conversations even when no handset or Wi-Fi network is in range.
The hardware splits the work. Each bud holds 16MB of storage and three microphones with a two-meter capture range, good for six hours of recording, while the case adds four microphones, a five-meter range, a speaker, 512MB of storage, and 36 hours of battery life.
An AI button on the case summons Plaud Agent, which plugs into Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack, letting someone turn a recorded call into calendar events or messages without opening another app. The transcription and summarization layer is branded Plaud Intelligence.
At $249.99 the One is priced against a wave of AI recorders and pins, with preorders open in select markets. Plaud initially told reviewers shipping would start in late September, then revised the date to Q4 2026.
