Google’s AI Mode is taking on travel chores inside Search. The conversational layer can now watch flight prices, finish hotel bookings, and quote costs in points or miles.
Flight tracking draws on more than 300 airlines and travel sites across 180 countries. Users describe where and when they want to fly, and AI Mode emails them whenever prices move for their dates.
A group of ten partners, among them Booking.com, Choice Hotels, Expedia, Hilton, Hotels.com, IHG, Marriott, Priceline, Trip.com, and Wyndham, powers the US rollout, which begins in English. Travelers choose a hotel in conversation, tap Continue on Google, review room and cancellation details, and settle up with Google Pay.
Points and miles pricing went live globally, so requests like flights from Atlanta to Miami on American miles return the miles needed to book. The upgrades push AI Mode beyond answering questions toward completing the booking itself.
