As first reported by CNA, Yulon Finance has unveiled a new AI-powered enterprise fraud detection service called KEYTECTOR, created in partnership with a big data company. The platform leverages advanced AI Agent technology to combat increasingly sophisticated digital scams, including social media impersonation and online investment fraud. The initiative supports Taiwan’s broader anti-fraud policies as financial fraud continues to surge—with over 40,000 cases reported nationwide in 2023, 65% of which were financial in nature.

KEYTECTOR uses three core AI modules—semantic analysis, channel feature analysis, and impersonation behavior analysis—to provide 24/7 real-time monitoring and early warnings for suspicious content. This system is capable of reducing fraud prevention response times by over 80%, transforming traditional passive fraud reporting into active detection. The platform addresses longstanding pain points for businesses, including the inability to manually keep pace with fast-spreading online fraud schemes.

Yulon emphasized that the tool combines its financial risk management experience with the data company’s strength in AI algorithms and linguistic analysis. The collaboration exemplifies how industry partnerships can drive practical solutions to national digital threats. KEYTECTOR can identify fake accounts, fraudulent advertisements, and manipulated content, helping organizations protect their brand reputation and prevent consumer harm.

The platform is also evolving to incorporate generative AI capabilities. Yulon plans to enhance KEYTECTOR’s decision-making and detection features, including automatic impersonation risk classification and image similarity comparison. The ultimate goal is to use AI to fight AI-enabled fraud, ushering in a new era of automated, proactive defense mechanisms for businesses.

With KEYTECTOR, Yulon Finance is leading a new front in Taiwan’s anti-fraud fight, demonstrating how AI-powered collaboration between finance and data sectors can offer scalable, real-time protection against evolving digital threats.
