Infosys told investors on October 23 that AI services accounted for 10.5% of revenue in the quarter ended September 30, up 29% from the previous three months.
Total revenue came in at $5,145M with a 21.0% operating margin. Large-deal wins carried a total contract value of $5.2B, 62% of it net new, including one mega deal above $2B.
The growth rate is headline material for a company that expanded 1.5% year on year in constant currency and 1.2% sequentially. AI work is running roughly twenty times faster than the business around it, which makes the 10.5% share the number that matters rather than the aggregate.
Chief executive Salil Parekh cast it as proof that clients are moving from pilots to production. “As enterprises move to AI adoption at scale, the strong growth in AI revenues is a recognition of our differentiated market positioning,” he said.
The caution sits in guidance. Infosys trimmed its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook to 1% to 2% growth in constant currency while keeping its margin range at 20% to 22%. Free cash flow fell 15.7% year on year to $928M.
That combination, brisk AI bookings against a thin overall forecast, is the shape most services firms are reporting this earnings season.
