Natura, a startup that makes AI hardware, has unveiled Interface, a $99 smart ring built for people who live with AI agents. A quick press of the finger is all it takes to call up an agent that can finish a task or capture a passing thought, with the phone still in a pocket.
Interface also works as a health tracker, logging sleep, activity, heart rate, and heart-rate variability. Out of the box it pairs with a lineup of apps and agents, among them ChatGPT, Claude, Instinct, Grok Bot, and Meta’s Muse. The company plans to begin taking preorders next month and expects to deliver the first rings in December or January.
The company was founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, whose earlier venture was Rolling Square, a maker of tech accessories. Before the ring came HumanPods, a pair of AI-enabled earbuds for talking to agents. Ferraris says the team realized that people want their agents within reach around the clock, and a ring fills that always-on role better than a phone or a set of buds.
Health tracking goes deeper than the basics: the ring records resting heart rate, sleep stages, daily movement and step count, and skin temperature over time. A full charge lasts six to 12 days and refills in 100 minutes. It debuts at $99, and after a free stretch of three to six months Natura plans a $9 monthly subscription, with a higher price to follow.
