Agentic Fabriq gives AI agents an identity and permission layer
SHARE

Agentic Fabriq is building the trust layer for the agent economy. The startup, part of Robinhood Ventures Fund II, works on identity and permissioning for AI agents, giving each autonomous worker a verifiable identity and a clear set of actions it is allowed to take.

The problem the company targets is becoming more urgent as agents start doing real work. When an AI assistant books travel, edits documents, or messages customers, the system needs to know who the agent is, what it is allowed to do, and how to revoke those abilities. Agentic Fabriq’s platform provides that control layer so organizations can deploy agents without handing over the keys.

Identity for agents is different from identity for people. Agents act at machine speed, they can be cloned, and they may be invoked by other agents. Fabriq’s permissioning model is built for those realities, with granular scopes that can be granted and revoked programmatically as agents move between tasks.

Robinhood Ventures Fund II holds roughly 80 positions built on $250K SAFEs, leans on Y Combinator alumni, and lists on the NYSE on August 13 under the RVII ticker at $25 a share. Agentic Fabriq is one of the portfolio’s bets on the infrastructure of trust rather than on a single model or application.

As agent deployments scale from experiments to production, the companies that make agents safe to deploy are likely to grow with them. Identity standards are still young, and the market is open for whoever defines how agents get credentials. Every serious deployment eventually asks the same question: who is this agent, and what is it allowed to do? Agentic Fabriq is building that answer as a product.
